Quaritch has commissioned a medal (after a poster designed by William Nicholson) to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the publication of the first part of Cervantes’s Don Quixote, one of the greatest of all works of literature. Contact Emma Brown for more information.

Quaritch is pleased to be associated with Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre (New Globe Walk, Southwark, London), in presenting a display of rare books in its upper foyer. All the books in this changing selection of original texts from Elizabethan and Jacobean times are for sale. Occasional catalogues are issued.
